What it means to sponsor:
Sponsor a survivor:
Give one survivor the opportunity to rebuild strength, confidence, and independence. Your sponsorship helps cover the cost of participating in SSA’s six-week trauma-informed martial arts and self-defense program, helping ensure that cost is never the reason someone cannot participate.
Sponsor a family:
Help a survivor and her children move forward together. A family sponsorship supports an average family of three—a mother and two children—helping remove practical barriers to rebuilding a safe, independent life. Depending on current program needs, support may help with participation costs, transportation, childcare, essential needs, and other resources that allow a survivor to focus on healing and creating stability for her family.
